I was looking in to buiing a new skimmer ,but which on to get .This works ok that one works well .I want a external skimmer that is easy to work with .I have a small tank with a few corals and a couple fish,I have had a super skimmer and it was ok.I want something a lot better .This is what I have .

The three brands I recommend are Euro-reef, ASM, and Aqua-C.

Your CSS can be modified to perform a lot better why not look into that first?

One simple way is to wind some fishing line on the needle wheel. I did this to my CSS 65 and wow what a differance. For a couple bucks and 15 minutes it is sure worth a shot. The first time I tried it, I added too much and it really didn't work much better. When I reduced it down some it really works nice. What is really nice is that fishing line can removed very easy to put it back the way it was. Here is a picture of where I got the idea.
