300g Rubbermaid Stock Tank. I LOVE this thing. So easy to work in! I have it sitting on concrete blocks to raise it up a little. That helps with the bending and helps to keep it warm. It sits over the floor drain in my basement. :)
I have a few heaters laying in the bottom, a Koralia and a large Rio powerhead. I also have a few airstones as well. I have one 14K - 400w MH over the middle of this tank. Things that like high light go right in the middle. For things that like a bit of lower light, they go on the outer edges. The pictures below are from when it was first set up. Things have changed as there is a lot more live rock now that what there was originally.
There are a ton of inverts and fish in here. I keep several mandarins, scooter blennies, lawnmower blenny, yellow tang, 2 clowns, wrasses, etc. I also have blood shrimp, peppermint shrimp, linkias, hermits, sea hare, turbo snails, etc. I have a live rock base under the egg crate.

Impressive set up
Very nice setup. You should sell some of those at the MASM swap.

I've considered taking some frags to the swap but honestly, I don't have the set up to be dragging them over there. I'd rather people just come over here, hang out, have a beer, take home a few frags if they see something they like. If nothing catches their eye... then the hanging out and having a beer is usually pretty cool all on it's own.
And, I'm helping out at the captivereefs.com table for the swap coming up.
I'll be posting some stuff for sale soon. I just fragged 3 diff chalices - I think I ended up with 9 or 10 frags. And I have 4 or 5 other chalices ready to frag too from my 180. And... I have a ton of zoas. *sigh* I should get busy! I need to offset the cost of my dog's recent splenectomy. :)

Let me know when the frags are ready. Would love to stop by for the beer, but it is a bit of a hike for me :)

LOL I've been inspired alright! Inspired to lower my electric bill! So... I'm putting up a recent picture. It's FULL of stuff now that I moved the contents of my 180g into it.
If anyone sees anything they can't live without, just let me know... cuz I probably CAN live without it!
This is about 3/4 tank shot... light glare is too much otherwise.

I love this setup, I've always wanted to do this. It looks good Becky! Maybe we should have a Macomb meeting at your house in the future, so we can raid your tank. I would love to see it in person.

We could totally do that! We'd all be gathered around the washer and dryer...but hey, I'm good with that. :)

It looks like Phaesianella australis. Seems to like more temperate water, algae grazer. Unless you keep your tank at 75 degrees or lower I dont think its something you'll have to worry about too long.
I really kinda like the idea of a large salt water "pond" very cool.

Thanks for the information. My tank is kept around 78F. He's been there for quite sometime. I've been seeing him around for at least a year...maybe even more.
The pond is actually pretty neat. Easy to work in. And it is really cool to see things from the top down perspective.

Really nice looking tank you have there. I agree that looking down on it gives a totally different perspective. I have family that lives out in Grosse Point and I would love to stop buy and take a look one day when I am down there;)

Sir..He likes to crawl up on the top of the tank wall ...out of the water. I have to flip him back in! I've never personally fed him. But he makes his way around the entire tank every day or so. He's very busy.
And RedfordReefer... I'd give a dollar just to see you touch that starfish with your bare hands, let alone take a bite out of it! LOL If you notice...it's tentacles are reaching for you...it wants to bite you first! It's coming for you.................
