So I am going to upgrade my flow in prep for the SPS leap. I have been shopping around and reading up. Vortechs are super nice and Tunzes seem to be top notch as well. As always quality comes with a price in these cases.

There are tons of other names out there. Are there any recommendations on a second tier PH?

Any to avoid completely?

I am looking for a pair of 1000+ gph and it seems logical to me that the magnetic mounts would work better than the suction cups.

Thanks

If you can, go for a VT or Tunze (I vote VT :D).

If not, I've always preferred good 'ole MaxiJets over anything else, you can get the SureFlo mods to make them push major flow, and wide spread.

Koralia's provide great movement and not too direct to blow the skin off the corals. Not sure on your set up but I'll be doing two enductor out flow's on my returns for the only flow in my 135.

I've had great results with these

Koralia - mag mount included
Maxi-Jet - sure grip mag compatible
Seio Super Flow - sure grip mag compatible

Thanks for sharing... the VT would be My first choice, but I can not justify 800 in PH just yet. I found a pair of Koralia #4 for 90 Beans. I may just pull the trigger on them.

Get one at a time on the vortechs if you have to. They are worth the money. I would also check the selling forums on RC. I have seen tons of them on there in recent months.
