I set this up December of 2008 after accumulating the tank & equipment over the previous 2 1/2 years. This allowed me to get some deals on used equipment and participate in a couple of group buys.

There are two 1" drains in the megaflow overflows plumbed through the wall into a 50g sump and two 3/4" returns.

Here is the closed loop, Oceans Motions 4way on a Dart pump.

The 4way alternateS between the front two returns running together then the back two creating a barrel roll effect.

Lighting is (2) 250 MH & (4) T-5's. Have a AquaController Jr. to run a DC8 & a DC4.

I never though I'd see it!!!!

Looks good Rick, nice clean looking tank. How do you like that oceans motion? Does it give you the wave action you hoped for?

Rick,
Looking good!! You need some more corals to fill up the empty space though.

I'm giving everything room to grow. I still have a few things on mag frag racks. Unfortunately everytime I try to place one and epoxy it in place I end up creating a couple more frags :duh:

Thanks, rbta came from beakerbob. It moved the first night I had it, then stayed put for several months and then mobile for a couple of days. It has been in its current location for 2+ months now.

updated my stock list for a pair of black clowns and a fire fish I picked up from Preuss today. I had to take back a file fish that had a taste for my zoanthids. I was hoping it would eat my majanos instead.

I got out in 2011 and parted it out. Too many kids activities. They will both be in high school next year so my coaching/scout leader days are wrapping up. Looking for the right used setup to draw me back in. ;) Thinking 30 -50g this time.

I think Jimsflies is right, the IM3 would be perfect or something similar to your new setup. This looks appealing too. KennyWiz JBJ LR30 (http://www.captivereefs.com/forum/livestock-sales-and-trades/kennywiz-nano-live-stock-selloff-tank-shut-down-and-sale-36050/#.VBr69PldWGd)

It would make a great tank to jump back in.
