yeah, me too!!! LoLz... right now, everything is under construction... ;)

I'm battling bubble algae, cyano just to name a few... I'm just glad corals are doing well still... I'm sure it's just the new tank syndrome... I plan on getting the tank back in shape and photo ready this winter... lotsa water changes and tweaking with the scaping to do, oh yeah, and growing of corals... :)

Thanks... I've had the Rhomboid for almost 4 months now... he sat at Kee's for a good 3-4 months and I couldn't stand it any longer and my tank was ready so I picked him up... so glad I did... he is by far the nicest Rhomboid I've had... :D

just sell a few frags... and get both... you won't be disappointed... if you do decide to get them, get them at the same time and add them together so no one can establish dominance on the other... :)

IME, most wrasses, after getting settled in have great personalities... they are always out and about waiting for you to feed them... when I handfed the tank, most of them would just be swimming in and out of my hand or literally taking chunks of the mysis or brine I have in my fingers... the most trying part of having wrasses is the first 3-4 months... after that period, you should be able to enjoy them for a while, unless you do bonehead things like I did recently... lost my almost SuperMale HI Flame wrasse I've had for almost 2 years... :( :( :(

unfortunately, the glass is not Starphire... I do plan on upgrading to a 120g Oceanic Tech series, maybe next year... :)

thanks for the suggestion on the scape... I'll look into it... the main reason I had the FL Ric rock like that is I wanted to highlight the color morphs on that side... I have a really nice pink on the front side... :)

Did some work last night with the tank since I'm expecting some visitors next week... I was just gonna change my filter sock and empty the skimmer but did quite a bit more... started around 10pm and didn't finish until 1am... yikes!!! I was trying to visualize how I want the tank to look in a few months so I went ahead and glued some of the corals sitting on racks for a few weeks... I'm glad to get that monkey off my back... it'll be fun to have peepz over coz there are some hidden gems scattered around the tank... anyway, I'll start with the FTS... :)

Thank you. yes, I agree. it'll take at least a year to get the zoas all over the rocks and another year for some of the SPS to fully mature. :)

my photo period starts at 4pm and ends at midnight. I normally feed them small portions 3-4x/day. I plan on feeding less in another week or so. just fattening them up a little. hope they start eating Spectrum Pellets soon. that's all I've been feeding my fishes for the past 6-7 months. Lyretails are pretty active and fun to watch. they go great with my fairy and flasher wrasses with movement in the tank. :)

I plan to add either a few more female Lyretails or a trio of Bartlett's or Dispar's. dunno which route I'm gonna go yet but more and more, I'm leaning towards a few more female Lyretails. there's a vid on p. 13 if you wanna check it out. :)

I'm not really sure why they called it war coral. you can see these guys almost everywhere now esp online stores. they have come down in value the past few years. used to be a frag of it will cost yah a bit for a few eyes. there's some variations of of it if you like to have different colors. :)

Thank you. it's just awesome to keep a coral you've grown for a while that's why I still have the war coral. I used to buy all the frags I can fit in my tank but I guess I have a different mentality now with reefing. I'm gonna work hard this year to just grow my corals and be content on what I have. doesn't mean I'll won't be buying frags to diversify colors. I guess, just not as much. I plan to keep the tank clean with different types of corals to enjoy. :)

I'm only on LPS... SPS, z's & p's, and fish pics to come.

my AoG's are from the original namer of them. I've had them since 05-06. I used to have about 100+ polyps but broke them up since I didn't have enough room for their rock. I'm kinda regretting not keeping the whole rock in tact. they will always be one of the brightest palys around. :)

Bubbly BTA's! I dunno why mine are more bubbly than some. even my big ones (8"+) are bubbly, esp when more blue lights are on.

Salinity is between 1.025-1.026. Lighting is from 2:30p - 12:20am. All 7 bulbs are only on for 5 hrs. Temp fluctuates from 77-80 throughout the day. Hope it helps. I've been following your thread. If you have any questions, just ask. :)
