I just introduced a 6-line into my newly cycled tank, and it had sort of a stressful time getting into the tank. Now its hangin out in a rock crevice and hasnt moved a fin (litterally) for about 4 hours. Its still breathing, but is this normal for these fish to do this when first acclimated? I just put a hermit in there at the same time and thats doing just fine.

cool thanks, lets hope thats the case! :) All the little threads from the tube worms are surrounding him (not on him). Should I clear them or let it be? It seems like one of those dead fish scenes.

Just let everything be. It'll be fine. When you say 'newly cycled tank' what does that mean?

it is normal for many different fish to hide the first few hours after introduction to a new tank some will even hide for days sometimes even more
wow just noticed that this thread was from like 6 months ago
When I added our lubocks(sp) fairy Wrasse to our tank, I did not see him for 3 days lol.
