I was given 2 Dendro's but they are in bad shape..One Dendro is a yellowish orange with 4 polyps on it but they are not very healthy..but they will accept mysis shrimp. The other one is a pink one and i cant see any tenticles on it at all but still holds shrimp although i havent see him eat any yet..Are these 2 far gone..I will try to post pics later.. I think these would look really cool in my display tank.
Thanks in advance for your answers

If they are accepting shrimp then thats a good sign but once they start to go there is usually no stopping them.
Turn off your pumps and see if you can observe the other one eating.
Save the trunks as they almost alway regenerate a ton of baby polyps.
Good luck!

Give them flow, give them mysis should be fine. Need to try and do this daily. It is possible to over feed in my experience anyway I was feeding mine every day for a week and for the past 2 or 3 days its been closed. Hoping its just digesting!

I agree with Rob, if they are not in a lot of flow already put them in a decent amount

each polyp has eaten 1 mysis shrimp today except the pink one..it is able to hold the shrimp but i didnt see it eat it..im going to feed 1 shrimp a day for 3 days then hold off for 3 days the back to it for 3 days..

Personally I would ease off on feeding. They don't need to eat that often.
I overfed mine after I first got them and it didn't open for nearly a year! The food I think actually rotted inside the polyp...most of the flesh was gone for 6 months. I could see the rock under it by looking in the polyp. Then one day it regrew a mouth and tentacles and was back in business.
I have decent flow in my entire tank, so for me I make sure they get good indirect flow and not get blasted. Also be sure they are not getting too much light.
Rick are you running carbon on your system?
