I DO I DO!!!

I can't wait to get a tank up and going again.

The reason I don't have one is money!! The reason I have no money is my dogs, honest truth there. You guys would be surprised how much it costs to show and work dogs. Next May I have already calculated my entry fee's to be $200 per day, and it's a two day show, close enough to my house to drive each day so no hotel. That does not include, driving, gas, food, gear if any goes bad, that is just the cash to go enter my dogs.

But with Tax returns I am going to try to knock out a few items on my fish list and start building. It will probably be a year or two before I have a tank up and running again, mostly because my previous ventures taught me tons of stuff, and this one will be done how I want it, no short cuts, no cheap gear, it will be done the way I want it from the start. And I will be very selective in the corals that go in it, only nice stuff, very little green and brown, unless they are VERY bright.

Fish just a few clowns and 2 mandarins, maybe an exotic goby or two

I like tanks light on the fish.

Custom starfire glass tank, for in wall set up, hanging rack on rollers for MH/VHO/LED lighting system. standard 55G sump with seperate independant 20G refuge. closed loop X2, SSB, with rock islands. Old school, not a ton of gizmos.

Tank should be roughly 36X36X18H, going for depth based tank, where the corals are more laid out front to back not top to bottom.

Forgot to mention the new enclosed room covered top to bottom with white FRP.

No it's the plastic like wall covering you see in restaurants and such, kind of bumpy in texture, easy to clean and sanitize.

Sounds like a great plan. 36x36x anything height is a greatsize tank!

Like me to keep my eye open for some white FRP? I am in the buisness where I do, but rarely, come across this stuff, most likely used and in need of a good cleaning.

Yeah....no.

I am building one tank, and only one, so that all of my resources can be directed to it, not spread out.

But I do have a 35 hex that has been hinting at me that it would like some ponies in it.
