Will holding my live rock in cold saltwater for a couple days kill my live rock??? Not worried about the coraline, and especially not worried about the mojanos that I hope will die, but very concerned with my live rock staying alive and well. Anyone have an answer/experiance??
Under no circumstances do I want to negativly affect the live condition of my rocks, but really need to get rid of these mojanos once and for all!

I don't think it would kill it, but re cooking would be advisable.
NOTE: when I shut down my 72 FOWLR I left the rock in and an aptasia successfully lived for over 3 months with no heater in the tank. No idea on manajos but pests seem to take quite a bit more of a beating than anything we want to keep alive.

^thx for the reply Jojo. Its apreciated.
These mojanos lived through the last "cook" that went for about 3 months! I am thinking cold water will be the ticket in killing the mojanos.
I did find that cold tems (around 55 degrees) killed mojanos, within a couple days, on some rock I am cooking in the cold basment, but dont want to risk the lower temps that will be coming shortly.
My rocks are clean, algea free and have just stopped "shedding" and are ready for the new tank. I cant be too carfull after everything I have gone through to get these rocks in top condition, other than the mojano issue.
Anyone with a 100% fact info on temperatures that live rock can stay alive (as far as bacteria) in temps around 40-50 degrees?

get a syringe, fill it with very thick kalk water, inject them all with it... they will die... problem solved. Live rock will not be negatively affected if you don't remove them from the tank... if you do to get at all the anemone's... well just a little die off would occur.
