30g sump and a temporary skimmer, I am working on getting a better one.

a Rena Smartheater
the pump there connects to a UV sterilizer.
the refugium is going to be in the next area filled with golf ball sized rubble and chaeto
and then a Eheim 1262 which is T'd off to return some flow back into the sump.

I got attacked for doing my sump like this but I still am pleased with it.

the last baffle instead of keepingit at 10" I drpped it down, that way evaporation occurs between the refugium AND the last compartment which gives me more flexibility.

Reefkeeper Lite with LED notification

Using my Reefkeeper lite, some extra LEDs and power supplies. I programmed the reefkeeper to light up when the heater or the fan turns on.



This way when I am sitting on the couch I can see whats going on with my tank.

Haha, I will see what I can do. Time is tight for me lately and its more difficult than it seems since you have to get ACDC converters, LEDs etc. etc.

The tank was designed around him, when he gets bigger he is going to a larger home. He is nearly two years old now.

Keeping an Achilles is mostly a mental issue whereas most people think its parameters and he is a happy camper.

Danke, Bill at reefledlights REALLY did his homework on them. Not all LEDs are created equal. The difference is like getting homedepot bulbs instead of geissman bulbs for T5s.

I used 60-48ds so I can control the brightness for acclimating corals and sunrise sunset.

The center is XPGs that kick in for the high noon effect.
