Looking good. Was it hard to find glass and was it expensive?

not to bad i used to work at a glass plant i cut it my self on break so the cost wasnt bad as it was out of scraps when plant make thick glass the size usally is 96x130 so if there a defect in it at 56" the whole piece goes to the crusher nothing wrong with the rest just that defect was larger than customers specs so my glass is defect free getting from a local glass shop would have cost a ton around here but you live in annarbor which is a larger market probly have bigger shops it might be cheaper

I am soo jealous, that is one sick looking set up. Can't wait to see more!

Do plan on keeping the canopy elevated like that? Looks awesome, love the open top look with hovering lights.

Do you also plan to scape some rock up and out of the surface like that? Very unique, I like it a lot.

as far as i new a Harlequin Tusk is a member of the wrasse family? but there are a few smaller fish i will add that are not on the lise royal gramma , sixline wrasse and such im not to concerned about the normal "reef safe" as long as they leave the ricrock alone fish as most of these guys eat hermits and shrimp including the larger tangs which have also eating a chromis or 2 when it got to close during feeding time

Ya, your right it is a wrasse. Wrasse make up the largest group in the ocean. I just always associate it with Trigger in my mind for some reason. Probably because of the teeth.

Must be nice to have some life swimming around in that huge tank now?!
How many sheets of Nori do you go through a week?
