2nd Anual AnnArbor Frag Swap

Frag swap from 2pm-5pm
social gathering from 5pm-???

Why-

Trade/sell corals and get to know some of the local (and not so local) reefers, and have a good time!

other info-

$3 admission, $5 for 1/2 table and $10 for full table. Kids free w/ adault (15 and under)
1/2 table i good for 1 admitance
full table is good for 2 admitance
Table set up will be 1 hour before swap begins- more time can be made available
for electric you will need an extension cord and possible powerstrip for more than 1 plug
Elevator for those in need.
There will be food and drinks available for purchase in the resturaunt upstairs anytime.
6 long tables or 12 1/2 tables available. If necesary, can provide more.

For those that need tables- arangments for tables will be made by pm to me.


Still working on any of our sponsors to see if they want to do anything "cool" for this event and participate. Will update that as it gets organized.

Got word on fragswapper.com- lucid props, who is a sponcer of theirs, is going to handle posting up the swap info on fragswapper.com for the many people who arent members here yet a chance to get in on the action of this swap.

There will also be info here, michiganreefers.com, and will be puting up an event post on reefcentral.com soon.

The official "what are you bringing" thread will be posted the day after the lansing swap, as to keep any confusion down respectfully.

I have SPS guys but am going to look the tank over and take some frags off those corals that are large enough to frag now. I know of one deepwater I can take frags from that has blue polyps.

Alright! My head has almost stopped spinning from this years annarbor swap! Time to reply!

I have many to thank! I had some help this year. Last year taught me help is key to having fun- and didnt have to look far to find it, and got to enjoy the swap much more than last year!!

First and formost- would like to thank Paulo! I was on the verge of cancelling the swap, due to financial reasons. Paulo came through- and ensured the 2nd anual annarbor frag swap!!

Second- I have to thank everyone for their contributions/donations to the raffle, in order to ensure the sucess of the next annarbor frag swap! Looks like this part of the swap has ensured a future 3rd anual swap! Thank you-

Next, I would like to thank Zak- at lucid props, for getting some vendors that I wouldnt have been able to get myself to attend!
Was great having them, along with the locals that set up/attended! Wouldnt have been a show without all of you guys!

Cant forget- My daughter, Alexis, and my bro in law, corvette reefer!! They worked the enterance desk well!!! They worked together, and gave each other breaks for the entire swap!! This couldnt have been done it without them! Sorry everyone about the lack in $1's and $5's, for the many instances this happened! Lesson learned for next year!!


Was great meeting as many of you as I had the chance also!! We more than doubled attendance at this year as last year, and couldnt have been done without all those that attended!!

Was a great time, that I am more than happy to see happen again!!
