Showcase Contest!!!

Ready for the next contest? This contest requires a little more work but should still be fun. To enter you need to complete a showcase for your tank. Anyone that has already completed a showcase and those that complete them through 3/15/2010 will be entered in to a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Choice Aquariums.

Just to clarify, a completed showcase is not only answering the questions but also adding photos to your Reef Showcase.

stupid question..how do you setup a showcase

go to your User Control Panel and look at the top of the left side - should be something about Manage my Reef components or something like that

rick to setup showcase there is a link in the top menu bar that says cr showcase click on my showcase to edit and view

Don't forget to create your showcase to get in on the contest. I think we have about 28 of them in the system now.

Also when you name them, please include your user name in the title so we can see who's showcase it is at a glance. I notice there are a couple in there that don't have the user name in the title.

By the way, I will be changing the featured showcase periodically on the home page. After a quick glance, I was impressed with CalmSeasQuest's showcase and moved his to the homepage. The more complete and full of photographs your showcase is, the better chance it has to be featured.

The odds of winning the contest are good right now....there's a $50 choice gift certificate on the line. Take a few minutes and start your tank showcase today. I'll be rotating them on and off the home page....so post a good first picture.

I'd like to see more entries from the folks doing the nano contest as well. :)

This provides a powerful tool for product research...as an example earlier in the week someone posted in the chat box if anyone was using an osmolator for their top off. Within a few clicks you can find exactly who is running what and ask them questions or just look at their setup.
