Old 430 ballast

Hi Steven,

I have a 430 Ballast that I bought back in the early 90's, and used for many years running T12 VHO bulbs. I currently have it in storage because of rumors that older IceCap ballasts can't fire T5HO bulbs (in fact the ballast would almost instantly become damaged). Is this really true? If so, is there a way to correct the issue?

I just remembered to email Dave and thought I'd share the answer to my question... All just nasty rumors!


Now I need to decide if I want to switch to overdriving 2 of my T5HOs.

I also determined that I purchased the ballast in 1994. Such a great product.
