View Full Version : Water Treatment skimmer upgrade

Thinking of upgrading my skimmer on my 120 reef. Currently have a Euro-reef CS6-3. Would prefer external since I don't have a very big area in my sump. Any opinion on the MRC beckett skimmers? Thinking I should be able to find something used for around $300.

Im biased but go with BASHSEA! Honestly though, michigan made, great quality and will run you less then a MRC. Let me know if your interested.

I've heard the name but that is about it. What do you suggest? I'm assuming I would have to go new then?

Just a thought. Do you know Tim Justin? He has a thread over on michigan reefers...spent a lot of time researching different brands and prices was leaning towards a MRC and found the Bashsea to be significantly cheaper. Let me know if you want some more info.
