MASM's February Meeting will be a special treat. Will will be holding this meeting at A&M Aquatics in Lansing! A&M is a Marine aquarium wholesaler that sells drygoods and livestock to LFS all over Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois. We will start with a tour of the facility. Then Steven Pro will be doing a presentation on how to properly select fish and livestock for your tank.

You Will not be able to purchase items directly out of the wholesalers tanks. However A&M will give you the item number of what you want and you can order them through your favorite Local Fish Store.

This is one meeting not to miss! MASM's February Meeting will be a special treat. Not only will you be able to get a close-up look at one of the premier wholesalers in the Midwest but Steven Pro will be there as well to talk to us about how to select livestock.

Way cool~our LFS here has switched from (undisclosed wholesalers) to A&M~funny how things happen.

This one is a MASM only meeting due to costs involved.

I'm pretty sure you are a member and I know a bunch of the or MMMC guys are too so most of you still get to come. You just get to do it for free :)

Yeah I'm a member of both....just thinking of the rest of our peeps and the need to get more activities in.

MASM meetings/events are posted on the MASM homepage: http://www.masm.org/ as soon as we have the details determined, usually with a month's notice or more. Feb is a short month and with everything going on like Super Bowl, Valentines, etc. it was a bit tricky to get a weekend set. :)

Great meeting on Saturday guys. Thanks for putting it together. It was nice getting a chance to talk...seems when we see each other we are usually scrambling around putting on a swap or conference.

Steve, your talk was great too...makes me think twice about buying any more fish!

Did you guys happen to get any pictures from the meeting?

I'm pretty sure they had a couple Passer's there. But you can't order directly from them. You have to get your LFS to buy them for you.

What were those things I was looking at in the first pic? They called them **** fires and said not to touch them (like I would anway)? Were they an anemone, jellyfish, or what?

I didn't see exactly what you were looking at. Anything with a name like "**** Fire" doesn't bode well for physical contact. ;)

Thanks for the compliment Chort. :) I liked how a few of the fish pics turned out, given my cheap cam.
