I currently have a 4 bulb T5 with built in lunar lights. I have been looking around to upgrade to a 5 or 6 bulb fixture. I like the Tek fixtures but not sure what I would do for adding lunar lights. I do not run a canopy so a fixture style light is probably my only option, but most of the ones I have found dont have the lunar light option.

So what are you guys doing for lunar lights that have fixtures like this with no canopy?
Thanks for the input

Can I get some opinions on this light fixture?
Main concern would be no cooling fan.

You stepped up your game and got the RKL right? What about the MLC mod with lunar lights???

Yeah. I actually pick up my RKL tomorrow. I thought about the MLC but am not sure where I could mount the lunars if I have a fixture sitting above the tank. Is that the type of setup you use? If so I might have to check them out again on your tank.

Anyone have any opinions on the Current Nova Extreme light fixture? I am looking at a 8x54w fixture.

It would have been a better deal if it came with the newer SLR reflectors. With the flat reflector, you lose a ton of performance.
