ID this algae

I have had these guys for a long time now, but they seem to be multiplying much faster these days. They are cool looking and don't seem to be harming anything, but I would like them gone. They are chalky feeling and dissolve pretty easily in your fingers.

They look like that, but are green and definitely an algae of sorts.

Neomeris annulata, a calcium based algea. They normally don't live long. Just pluck them no biggie.

Thanks guys. Like I said, I like them and think they are pretty cool, but they are starting to spread pretty quickly!

I would imagine they could compete for calcium with your SPS.

very little, plus rob they look cool!!! you just wish you could grow them lol. If he gets to meny like you said he could just pluck them and trade them off..

I do wish I had some they look dope under LED's. I had some in my 55 de eyeight.
