I am planning a 72x18x12 top view frag tank. Does anyone have a top view or realy shallow reef?

NOt yet :)

But I did buy a couple of 8" deep tanks on Ebay and I am planning to do one as a zoa tank upstairs. I am in Ypsilanti if you ever want to swing out this way. I sm hoping to have one of these going soon.

4' 55 gallon mag 7 running a 55 gallon fuge 2x250 20k halides and a coralife 125 skimmer. I would be switching all equipment to the 70. I realy just want a top view growout tank.

Good choices!!!!

I am an Acropora nut but have become very fond of chalices lately. I ahve a big watermelon colony in the SPS reef.

Chalices are by far the coolest strangest and most colorful corals around.

I prefer Radiums on Digital ballast now (over an HQI). I have used radiums along side 6500K Iwasakis and got pretty decent results. The thinkg I wish is that Radium would have made a 250DE. I use reeflux 20K's in my 250 pendents and Radium 20K's for the 400 SE pendents.
