[Corvette Reefer]

well this is my 20 gallon over a year ago, when it was first cycling.

i actually like it like this more than it looks now its pure and clean. how can u keep a tank to look like this.

then i went through some horrible stages of algea with hair aglea covering every thing and then all my corals dieing except the same frog spawn i have now.

Then i got this sweet little clown

But then he got poppy eye and died very sad, he was the coolest fish i had.


Then i went for along time with no corals boring.

Then Thanks to paulo i i had a new fish to add, really cool fish, the tomato not the damsel had him already.

What im Running on the tank is as followed:

Two sided hob filiter; built as a refuge, need to make it look nicer but i got to figure how.

A Skimmer of unknowness.

A 2 bulb PC light, with 2 bulb NO T-5; hopefully ill be upgrading to 6 bulb T-5 setup soon.

And a 150 watt heater that sucks.

Well thats it for now hope to have new stuff to put up soon.

yes there very bad, aptastion. i zapped most of them now.

Oh! I didn't know what aptasia really looked like. I'd only ever seen one that ws so tiny I couldn't make it out.

Thanks for the update. I recently added some corals and I am not sure a dip will kill aptasia. Now I know what to look for.

Top left are button polyps-top right are Candy Cane-center are glass anenome get rid of them asap, they'll take over your take in no time killing any near by corals as they go.

Plating hydnophora. Grows very well in his tank....much better than mine.

So its been awhile since i updated, a lot of difference in it, different rock work and a lot of new corals with a lot of growth on them. I'm going to start updating more, hopefully many people will join in on watching it updated. Some things i plan on doing for you guys to look forward to is updating my led system and getting a controller on it, a hood is in progress of being made by my wood making professional dad, and any other things i come up with.

so finally had had time to get pictures as of now, much much growth! some new corals and a few close ups, been practicing to get better pics so some are real niccce and other are poo lol its a oldddd camera and doesnt take very good ones but i get as much as i can outta it, does some weird stuff tho like sometimes changes the tone color of the picture so some pictures look very white and others are the normal blue as it looks in person.
