Wow, those are some amazing pics! Was that very first one a Tri Color Valida? Im just really getting into SPS. That "platygyra" maze brain is really awesome. Im jealous. But don't ever frag it, they take to long to grow keep it nice and big!
I was trying to figure out how many different Blasto morphs you have?

Thanks! I love taking pictures of my tank,, sometimes I run out of things to take. Yes the Acro was a Valida. As for the Blasto's I have 4 color morphs and would like to get more! all that I have now I got from the fish dr's red and green and the all green from Ypsi, and the red's there 2 morphs on 1 hand sized rock, it came from Adrian. I will try to get a picture of all of them together.

How's the SPS? Are they hard to maintain? I'm thinking about going all SPS in my next tank...
youngtimothy
03-30-2010, 08:12 PM
some SPS are hard some are not to bad, water quality, flow and stability, are key. keep cal, alk and mag at required levels and you should be fine.

Wow, I ended up grabbing a blue platygyra like yours about a week ago. It's still settling in down in the grow out tank. Last night I went to check on it a few hours after lights out and was blown away with the length of the sweeper tentacles. Thing looked more like a torch coral with almost 5-6 inch sweepers. Luckily it didn't touch any of my other prized favias or platy's.
Congrats on TOTM by the way!
