View Full Version : Lighting/ LED LEDs for my... kitchen?
We have a microwave that has a halogen bub for lighting the kitchen counter. The darn lights on it burn out like every 60 days, and I am tired of it!
I want to just leave the dead bulbs in there, and stick some LED fixture on the bottom. Has anyone found decent LED under-counter fixtures?
P.S. I have standard outlets available to power it.

I stumbled across something in the mouser electronics catalog that would most likely work. It is a whole fixture and a DC adapter. How big do you want? Do you want a 6 inch light, or a 12 inch light?
there is also a 1.5 inch flood and 1.5 inch spot light in there.
Thanks!! I bet 6 inch would work, but may be interested in the 12" for other applications. What is mouser?

Mouser is an electronics company. www.mouser.com Go to page 99 of the catalog
I ordered part VSDL06M68 for my 20 gallon tank. Looks pretty good, about the same light as my power compact.
I also ordered EIADT-UL-001 for the ac adapter.
