how to make it look better?

This doesn't look nice at all, any body got a idea how i can make it look nice? The light is just a double sided screw in bulb, i cover it with that so it doesn't blind me when i walk in.

What is it? Looks like a light over a fuge/filter.

I'm thinking you may need to punt on your covers. You need something that is completely transparent.

I'd also be nervous with that wire nut so close to your water. They makes some wire nuts that are waterproof/resistant. But when I have to make that type of connection, I try to do it closer to the wall than the tank....and usually try to solder and use waterproof shrink tubing to seal it.

i dont have any covers for the light, and yes medwards its a powerfilter turned into a fuge.
