Looking for some tips on a frag tank

Hi, I'm setting up frag tank to possible go next to my AP24. The tank I'm buying in a 24 gallon nano cube with 150 watt halide. I will be picking it up fri. The few questions I had were, 1. is there a way to connect the 2 tanks so I'm working with a larger water volume? 2. Any ideas on a DIY frag rack? 3. LR or no LR?

I'm sure I'll come up with more, but this is all I have as of now.

Any suggestions? 14k or 20k bulb? I think I'm going with a 20k because it makes the coral look better. Will that really slow the growth?

Best growth comes from 10k or less, but colors can be whack. Some then toss the coral in a DT with 20k for a month or so to color up before selling.

Is it that big of a factor when it comes to growth? I think having them look cool is more important. imo.

I agree, why not enjoy them to their fullest potential while you nurture and grow the corals.

Exactly. But I might just go with a 14k to stay in the middle. Get a little bit of both worlds. I'm looking at a phoenix 14k

Yeah it's up and running. I'm just waiting for my bulb to come and for the tank to cycle. If I didnt alredy post this, it's a 24 nanocube with a 150 halide.
