Folks..

There were a couple of you that I promised zoanthids to...

This weekend was warm. So I figured I'd get them ready to mail out. I was moving a colony of green zoas when I found sundial snails on it. If you don't know what they are, and like zoas.. they are pretty much the devil. They eat them like Dorito's!

Sooo.. until my wrasse makes dinner of them, and I'm assured that I am free of the snails, I'm not going to be sending anything to anyone...

Dude that sucks rocks..... Any particular favorite wrasses to kep these munchers under control?

For those not in know, and since we don't have any examples to photgraph in our reef that we know of (at least none that I know of *crosses fingers*) I 'borrowed' a pic from LiveAquaria.com

I heard that manual extraction of the adults is necessary as they are too large for most wrasse to "mouth". The wrasse can and do a good job at eating smallish ones. My 6-line has been going to town on them since I moved the rock into his area of the tank.
