I'm moving soon and I want to take my aquarium with me. Dose anyone knows a company that would move it for me? Will I have to tear it down and start all over? Dose anyone have any suggestions?:)

@chort55 Thanks. Do you have any advice on how i could do this the most efficient way and least stressful way?

Might want to check with the sponcers list- ask the local fish stores. Bet some of them in the area offer this service. Have a feeling, the fish doctors do.

Might want to find some local reefers and see if any are available and willing to help you out.

I'll do it, hit me up for rates. What time of year is this happening?

If you need a second I live in Lake Orion and have a fair bit of experience moving tanks from 24 gallons to systems of 350+.

Kyle ,

1. Your preparation should depend on what kind of corals you have.
2. have lots lots of extra water
3. Large Max Coolers to take your fish and corals
4. Pick the right day with the right temperature range to move, it helps. (But from experience, I decided on a day based on forecast and suddenly the weather became rainy and cold, so prepare and plan for the worst case scenario)

Some time in July or as soon as I get my crap packed up.

Thanks manoj, I'm planning on maybe getting a new stand with a canopy. I will also make sure I have water in container prior to moving.

Yeah, I would highly suggest to have anyone who has a tank big enough to hold your livestock, to go that route. It would make things A LOT easier on you.

And, that way you're not on a time schedule of having your livestock in bags / buckets.
