and an EV150 to go with it.

Seen it, and really thought longingly about it, our skimmer could really use an upgrade. Went so far as to look long and hard at what I could get away with fragging without Angel beating me over. :lol: Still thinking about it though.

But I just need to increase the return rate for my planted display tank/refuge, a Mag7 with only 3-4' head would be way too much, I'd have to throttle it back to over half, no sense beating up the pump like that.

I got the unit from G.M.T. to upgrade the one I have but I am using an old wet dry as my sump and the EV is just about 1" too big with the plumbing attached to fit in it. I thought about running it outside of the sump but I would have to put it outside of the stand and my wife said no way to that because you would see it.
