Well this is not my summer for sure. Woke up this morning to a dead Red Dragon return pump. The Freaking shaft broke (again) on the thing. Seems like they last about two years and then puke. I ordered a Octopus Water Blaster HY5000 today from Premium and right now I am running the reef with my Eheim 1262.
I am debating on fixing this pump or saving the motor block and trying to get a different impeller assembly all together. The cost to fis it is around 129.00 if I throw 80.00 with it I can buy another Water Blaster HY5000 and change them out every thrree months for cleaning.
