Shipping corals!

I would like instructions on the best way to ship coral. Anyone?

where is it shipping to? will it need a cold pack or a hot pack? put a styrafoam box inside of a brown box. put the coral in the bag and put it in the box. youll have to use something like packing peanuts to hold the bag upright in the box.

Not sure where it'll be shipping to yet. I just need to know all that's involved before I put it up fer sale. Can I do it? I wont bring it to my LFS, they wont give me no where near what it worth and what they will give me will be in credit only, that wont get me any new corals. Know what I mean?

i would say double bag them to so they dont loose water. heat or cold pack? did you save any of your shipping boxes? most of mine came packed with news paper as filler.

i am not sure where you would get some of those nice little coolers? maybe from your lfs or a bait and tackle place. some just cut sheets of styro and lined the boxes with that. i saw some in the pkg/mailing section at some stores.

10+ head Duncan~Beautiful!! But she's totally out growing my tank. Don't know how to frag, nor do I got the tools to even try. I do have a box from previous order that's just the right size and already lined with styro. I'll get it all together then put it up fer sale. Still nervous though, geeeeeez.

Sounds like a good time to ask if there's any members in the area that would frag it for you. Then you could watch them and learn how, plus you'd be able to keep a portion of your Dunc, cuz that thing looks awesome.

I've been asking around-the only peps I know who even have sw work at the lfs and they can't do it either. I wish I could frag it-polyps go for 10$ per.
