ASM skimmers are so sweet. If you have $$$$$$$ to spend, there's H&S or Deltec, too. ASM is a great skimmer for the best prices. www.asmskimmer.com

that looks nice. I don't have a sump will the g1 or the g2 still work. and that mod kit for 38$ it looks as you can buy the parts at like home depot?

You're gonna need a sump and you can get most of those parts at any plumbing supply, but gatevalves seem far less easy to find.

Repto is right that you will probably want a sump at some point in the future but if that is not an option right now and you are looking for a hang on the back (HOB) skimmer, I would check out the AquaC Remora

Everyone I have chatted with really like their AquaC Products including me (EV120)

I bought my AquaC from Marine Depot.com. They seem to have pretty good pricing and good customer service.
