Hey all,
When I was rearranging my rocks earlier I must have dislodged this fella, as I found him "naked" on the sand later. I kindly relocated him to a rock hole front and center but I'm not sure what he is.
I apologize for the bad cell pic :(

Thanks in advance!

It looks like a anemone.

Striping makes me think a curleycue perhaps. But the arms don't seem elongated enough.

Hard to tell from the picture but I'm used to seeing majanos that are more green, sometimes almost lime green. Possible though.

Hey guys, it was a bit traumatized yesterday so I think that is why it looks pale, plus, I don't think it had seen the light for awhile. I'll monitor it and see what develops :)

Ok, I looked up both of those possible IDs and I will say it is definitely not a majano. This guy has little stripes, so I'm putting my vote in for curly-cue :)

Are the 'bands' just coloration in yours MizTanks? Or do they actually puff out from the arms because, at least in her picture, they don't seem to puff out but yours do...

Watch hers when it fully opens. Rock Nems come in assorted colors. The colors in mine are there puffed or not. I'm not quit sure what you mean??? If not a Rose Rock, def some type of Rock Nem. It will move all over the tank til it finds the right spot for itself, could even be the sand bed.

Yeah, I'm waiting for it to open more, it is still a bit "shy"
Whatever it is, I'm just glad it is something other than aiptasia!

Try spot feeding it some mysis or brine shrimp. They love it! May help her recover from the trama :))

I'm saying the rings around the arm. The bands if you will. Hers appear to be just color bands, where as yours appear to be like 'bubbles' in the arms where they actually pop out from the skin. Does that make sense? And if so, do those 'bubbles' come and go?

Gotchya! They don't come and go. But they do look like that when their young.
