After screwing up my tank...... (see my reef thread) it appears that so far the only thing in real jeopardy is my pink bubble coral...... it is showing a lot of skeleton and the bubbles are all closed up to practically nothing..... how long would ya'll wait to pull it out? I don't want to give up too soon but after already stressing the tank out I don't want to leave it in there too long either.

Wait did you just say PINK BUBBLE CORAL? I haven't seen one.....well in 5 years since mine died. Been on the hunt ever since.
Other than that should be fine until you start to see torn flesh, melting etc.

LPS, don't remove it.. they have this strange ability to keep on living through disasters, or spawning new baby polyps..
examples:
My plate coral died, I left it in the tank now ive got about 200 baby plate corals
My Favia has dead skeleton(or so I thought) in areas that used to be in the sand, I moved it, and recently Im seeing completely new polyps growing in those spots, unattached to any currently living flesh on the outside of the coral.

thanks guys...I am a worry wart I guess..... about 1/2 the bubbles are filled out again since the salinity has finally gotten back into range.
