actually I havent. I am just letting it go through a cycle and mellow out. right now I have 1 yellow tang, 1 damsel and 1 clown in there with a bunch of snails and hermits I did however lose one yellow tang. I dont know what happened to him. I am going to do another waterchange here in the next day or 2 and hopefully this time next week will be transfering everything into the big tank and then will work on the canopy!! But right now its ugly in there. a TON of algae in there but slowly its starting to level out.

EVERYONE IS MOVED IN!!
Well good news and bad news. first the bad news. last night I was checking on my tank. I noticed that my damm sailfin tang WAS DEAD!!!! I think it might have been the stress from the holding tank. but I am not sure cause he had no signs of stress and he was eating like a pig. so that made it final. I dropped everything I was doing and started moving EVERYTHING into the new tank. it took approx 2 hours to move but I got everything in there. I watched them very closely the rest of the night (about 3 hours) and went to bed hoping they would be fine. I woke up this morning and kicked on the lights and everybody came out and looked very very happy. My hippo tang seems like she is in heaven, just cruising around you can almost see the smile on her face. and all of the corals look happy and all puffed out and polyps a dancing. I will get some pics later in the day to show you. It breaks my heart. I had some serious serious loss getting this tank up and running. I would say I lost approx 30-40% of my corals and over 1500.00 in fish. But I can honestly say I did try my hardest to make sure I had mininal loss of life. but I guess somethings you just cant control. :( I am gonna miss that tang

NEW PICS
Allright here are the pics with everyone and everything in their new home. Now remember this is still a work in progress. right now I am only running 1x400w 1x250w MH with 2 actinics. so there is literally double the light going in there. and I am waiting for my new pump for the manifold so right now I have powerheads in there for flow. Its still pretty bare in there. but that will eventually start to fill in. I have some corals ordered but gonna wait a little bit till they are in the tank. but so far I am very pleased with the way its looking. the LR racks are AWESOME there is soo many little nooks and crannys for the fish to cruise around in. they really seem to be enjoying it. the length of the tank is nice but what amazes me is the depth of the tank. the tank is 34 inches front to back. they have sooo much room to swim around it its fantastic. it looks like everyone had their favorite little spot picked out and are starting to nestle in .............. HERE ARE THE PICS!!!!!
