My fuge (3.3g) has been loaded with cyno for a long time. Doesn't really bother me nor my tank but it is stunting my cheato's growth. I've reduced the lighting from 24w to 18w. Today I added a very very small pump (0.264gph) from my old nano skimmer to the fuge, for added flow. Reason for lack of flow in the first place is my surface skimmer is directly hooked up to my intake pump.
My question is, will the added flow cause any issues within the fuge? I'm really trying to get the cyno gone or at least under control
WTH? 30 peoples looked at this thread and NOBODY has an opinion?
I'll chime in. I would think as long as the pumps not stirring things up your fine.i would definitely pay close attention to your corals to see if it's causing issues. See your lucky number is 31 lol.
Well I removed it. I'm thinking the pods may not be liking the extra flow. I just may need to tear apart the intake tubes and clean em out, YUCK! Unless I just put a sock over it and run a flexi brush through it
