Default After tons of questions, Setup has begun - Pics

First things first. I need to thank pretty much everyone here since I have received answers to all my questions on just getting my tank and system setup.

Most of you know I came here looking at a 55G tank with a BioWheel Filtration.

Well, I returned all of it accept the tank, had a friend do a custom job, and with help from everyone here, this is what I have setup at this point.

    Setup
    55 Gallon Tank
CPR Aquafuge Pro 17G w/ Skimmer
Little Giant In-line Pump 600GPH adapted piping for more flow(Quiet and great)
    700GPH Overflow box
    18W Jalli Fixture for Refugium
    2 Tronic 200 Watt Heaters

Custom built oak stand/canopy with Formica on the top, inside, and on the canopy for those accidental water spills.

I know it isn't much to look at, and I still have a long road to go such as main tank lighting, additional skimmer, and possible addition for better water movement in tank.

Thanks again to everyone here, especially ReefNeck who has been patient to work with me and answer everyone question I could have.

I want metal halide, but the room constraints may force me to go T5. So since this is my first tank and I had the base built on purpose for room to grow I might just take the T5 and "when" I upgrade have a new canopy built for my new tank with about 12-14 inches instead of 8.
I plan to order my Seiso Powerjet, and add a standpipe to my overflow to help reduce the noise.

So for now, it is finding a light that fits in the space I have to do what I need.

A note on the guy that did the stand/canopy.

He purchased Oak and Formica, then hand made it all, trim, doors, everything. I also told him I would put the word out if you live around the Indiana area he is making more and can custom build anything you want.

    VERY nice! I'm jealous!

Actually, I think this is the first time I've seen someone plan for a future upgrade like you have... many kudos to you for thinking ahead and preparing accordingly! :-)

Hang on to that carpenter... the cabinet work looks great. Enjoy all that open space while you have it :D
Every electronic device is manufactured with smoke stored deep inside... only a true genius can find a way to set it free.
