#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#hey i have a 30 gallon tank and about 60 pounds of live rock and i have an extremely good clean up crew ( two sea urchins and a bunch of snails) any ways i have like no algae on my rocks or anything and i would like to have some algae on my rocks and stuff like that. I think some green algae looks good on rocks and stuff. I miss some color in my tank my rocks are picked clean and i have no color on my tank. any suggestions would help for some color thanks.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#loose the urchins...they need a good supply of allgea to survive its seems like you have too good of a clean up crewwith out algea they will starve to death. If you scale it back by removing the urchins you should get some allgea growth not enough to be a nusance just give some color...also if your calceum levels are good you should start to see some coraline allgea growing on the rocks and glass. hope this helps#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#tigersax7#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
that is something you dont hear in this hobby too often= someone asking how to get more algae, your lucky most of us at one time or another were up to our eyeballs in algae, I would lose the urchins also, do you have any fish in the tank at all??? but be carefull what you wish for
