    Default aptaisa how to kill

I personally don't have any right now and hope I don't get it again

But a lot of people have it and really want it gone

I have found several methods to be successful in it eradication

First off my favorite and most successful way is to fill a coffee cup or small heat safe bottle with boiling or near boiling water then take a small medicine syringe the type used to give a child a dose of meds and just squirt it and scald it till it melts away to nuthing

another popular method is warm kalk paste/water actualy injected into the nem

both of these methods can take hours if not days of tedious work to get them all and can involve extensive remodeling of rock work to ensure all are gone

another popular method of getting rid of them is the use of peppermint shrimp as some are said to eat the nuisance nems I personally never had luck with this method

and last but definitely not least is the use of fish like the scat copper banded butterfly or other butterflys I have had hit and miss success with this as the fish tend to eat the ones that are easy to get to but usually miss the smaller ones that are hiding in the cracks of the rocks

I bought a bottle of Aiptaisia X yesterday on the advice of the LFS owner. I am going to try it in the next hour or so and will let you know how it works. The instructions say it works immediately

I have tried Joe Juice and Aptasia X. In my experiences AX works much better than the Joe's Juice.

I used kalkwasser mixed into a paste and a turkey injection needle with great results.

I have battled Aiptasia for years, tried most of the methods, and I found that the only true way to totally eradicate the little beasts is the Berghia Nudibranches, They totally stripped my 120g sps tank of the Aiptasias, along with my frag tank... Something to look into!

Aiptasia-X works great for Aiptasia and Glass Anemone's.
Killed about 12 of them in 30 seconds and they have been gone for a couple weeks with no sign of them coming back. I also had a buddy try it...worked great for him also.

Video on how to use -
