    Default bleach ?'s

Will a 20% bleach 80% water solution hurt PVC, pumps, or acrylic? I was going thru some misc. boxes of fish stuff and I don't know if any of it was used in the old tank that had the myco seahorse in it. I'm not taking any chances, so it all needs to be bleached before I can use any of it.

    Thank you,
    Angie

i don't think that should be a problem just use hot water and bleach then rise it all off in cold water when you are done and let it air dry, it should be fine

I'm not positive, but I wouldn't think the bleach would actually hurt the PVC, acrylic, or anything inside the pumps...

BTW- If you are at all concerned about any chlorine residue, you could make up some water with a dechlorinator in it, and give everything a final rinse in that before you let it dry.

Thank you. I do plan to rinse everything in a bucket with dechlorinator in it. Better safe then sorry.
