when a clam is young they rely more on nutrient in the water, but when they start to mature, they rely more on lighting. I would hold off on the clam till you get better lighting.

yep they will do fne in that.. now what kind of clam do you want cause some have special needs... like a maxima clam you want on the rocks and others go in the sand
ok old thread new question....I will have 384 watts on a 75 gal tank what would be a good clam for me...
George, I would go with a deresa clam they are beutifull clams that are not as high light needing as the other clams
