    #ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Are there some clams that dont need a whole lot of light??? i want one, it will go in my 20 for now but into my 90 soon. Will they live under a 55w PC???#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
    120 Gallon Reef With Starfire Front, 2 overflows and 30 Gallon Sump. Mag 18 on the Return. Lit by Aqua Light Pro Deluxe. 2 250 Watt HQI Halides and 2 96 Watt PC Actinics all in one. ASM G-2 In-Sump Skimmer. 2.5 years in the making.

    when a clam is young they rely more on nutrient in the water, but when they start to mature, they rely more on lighting. I would hold off on the clam till you get better lighting.

    yep they will do fne in that.. now what kind of clam do you want cause some have special needs... like a maxima clam you want on the rocks and others go in the sand

    George, I would go with a deresa clam they are beutifull clams that are not as high light needing as the other clams
