I'm not familiar with that food, but you might try freezing it after soaking. Once it thaws it should sink.

Agreed, try the freezing method, makes sense or throw that poo out in the flowers for a little extra phosphates in the flowers. They also sell a freeze dried "loose" type of cyclops same trouble. Thankfully a raccoon stole the better part of my freeze dried cyclops and ravished it before I had a chance to throw that crap against the wall. Never again, if, and if isn't here, I want to use cyclops again I will only use the frozen stuff. The freeze dried types are near impossible to sink. Wine corks are easier to sink than freeze dried cyclops.

    Default 2 oz. Argent Cyclop-eeze

I use 2 oz. Frozen Argent Cyclop-eeze distributed by A&M Aquatics; the one that looks like a frozen charcoal briquette.(Should be available at LFS)
I mix a chunk of Cyclop-eeze, a chunk of Nutramar Ova, then give a few generous squirts of Arctipods into an old 60ml selcon bottle w/eyedropper and dissolve it in RODI water with 10 drops of each Selcon and Zoecon. Then just give your Mandarin 3/4 of an eyedropper tube 3-4 times a day in your glass jar.(you'll want to make an eyedropper extension out of rigid air line) If you dont use the Mandarin Diner concept anymore then just use the stuff I sent you to make a pod propagation area and let your mandarin dine at its leisure and forget about spot feedings as the Mandarin wont outcompete anything in your tank for the prepared food.

No floating problem here and the bottle lasts a couple weeks.

I've never used the dry before.. always the frozen stuff. Rather than throw it out...try the freezer method as suggested above. And if that doesn't work... use it as fertilizer for your house plants.
