I have diatoms in my newest tank, its been running for about 35 days now, and I use RO water. but they only really seem to show on the new white sand, not much on the live rock. Friday I am buying a diverse clean up crew, we will see what happens.
ADALIUS- that's a great algae site, I read the whole thing, very good info.
