    a very nice reference book is "the complete book of the MARINE AQUARIUM" by vincent B. Hargreaves

    it has great info on tons of corals and alot to help get you started, me and my dad used it and its helps alot. It has over 700 fish invertebrates and corals all the info on them, it has how to maintain a reef tank. LOTS of great information look into it.
