Default scratch on inside of tank

im thinking of buying a used tank off someone but there is a scratch on the inside glass about 3 inches. is there anyway to repair the tank before i put anything in it so that the you cant see the scratch or is the scratch going to have to stay there.

Depends if it's glass or acrylic. If it's glass, then no...unless you want to replace the entire panel.
