Default Getting it together for 125

I decided to get the controllable Korallias. I got the #6 pumps (2) of them with the dual controller. I keep needing to remind myself that this tank is not nearly as big as my old one. These pumps will go from 800-2500 GPH. They run between 4 and 10 watts. It is also a better deal for me right now than getting vortechs. The other advantage is being able to direct the flow. I only really need to get the dosing pump. I can do that next month to be up and running. When controllers go on sale again then I will get either the Apex or the Reef Keeper.

We run Koralias, Mike. They are a great pump. Ours have been running strong for a few years now. We are running a (non-controlled) #7 and #8 on our 180. I think two controlled #6 on that new tank will rock!

These made economical sense to me. I can get the performance and almost the profile I want for about half of what the other pumps would cost me.

Was thinking of getting the reef keeper lite just to control the lights with and monitor the PH. I find that I dont use a lot of the other extra stuff that is available. Anyone have opinions?

I think the lite's a cool controller. You can easily upgrade it and it does allot for a fair price.Great for sensable reefers or someone on a budget.

The skimmer came today (SWC 180 cone) so I am pretty much in business to cycle once I pick the tank up hopefully Monday.

I have a controllable koralia powerhead that you could have super cheap if you wanted. I bought it to try and see if I could get it to work my controller, but it needs some dumbass ac signal that I cant reproduce. I did cut the connector which would need to be resoldered on. But I could do that. PM if you are interested
