Default no more frags from Mrs Binford

Well after much worth while thought my lovely wife woke up this morning and packed all her frags up and took them to the LFS.She proudly ordered another stingray and two puffers and instructed me to grab a 50# bag of cariban sand and explained to me how much I really wanted to replumb her 40 gallon frag tank and set it up for rays and her future puffers. Arghhhh !!!!! Good thing I don't like to watch football(I thinks it's time to try it tho)So I'll post some before and after shots tomorrow. yipee what a great idea LOL

Very cool! Is that a yellow stingray?

Will the puffers not bite the rays ?

Best of luck! Keep us posted.

    Puffers will bite rays.
40 Gallons is too small for any ray.

they are sea of cortez ray's.We.ve had one for six months already. The biggest it will get is 6 to 8 inches in dia..Consider them mini ray's and seems very content and eats from her hands even,She ordered porci puffers the shouldn't be an issue IMO

ok, well you spoke your mind.I've been doing this over twenty years so I think the 40 breader with no rock work will provide plenty of space so thanks for your input. This is allot diffrent then your example and well it's kind of a lame one too honestly,I'll have a hart to hart with the ray and see how it feels about it's enviroment.Feel better?? LOL

A 40 breeder should provide enough space. At least for now.
How big are the rays now?

I'd be afraid the puffers would go for the ray's eyes...
