    Default LR/LS cleaning?

Hey guys, I got a bunch on Live Rock and Live Sand from a friend but its got some pests, and some algae, anybody know a good method of "cleaning" it?
I'm starting a display 165 and wanna start totally from scratch on it.

Are you hoping to keep the rock and sand "live" and just clean the pests off, or does totally from scratch mean you're looking to eliminate all life from the rocks and sand?
