    Default quarantine tank

Ok, I have a spare millenium 1000 filter, heater, and a 10 gal tank that I'm going to use as my quarantine tank. Now, I'm going to cycle the tank with live rock for like 4 weeks I guess, my question is, when I remove the LR will a millenium filter be enough to filter the 10 gal? And will I need substrate or artificial decorations?

Substrate and decorations are an optional thing, however providing some place for the fish to hide and such in the tank is a good idea... it really needs nothing more than some lenths of 2" PVC or something similar to that. It will provide areas for the fish being QT'd to feel safe and cause less stress (which we know only helps parasites thrive).
Every electronic device is manufactured with smoke stored deep inside... only a true genius can find a way to set it free.
