Captive Reefers, we all care and love everything about Reefs. Why else would we work so hard to make our own pocket sized oceans at home? However, the love of our REAL REEFS needs to grow, so that our tanks can keep doing so.
Below are excellent links to gain knowledge, get to know the Real Reefs near you, and maybe even help out with them!

Adopt A Coral Reef! (The Nature's Conservancy's Adopt A Coral Reef Program raises funds for important Coral Reef Projects in the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Palau, and Papua New Guinea.) If the present rate of destruction continues, 70% of the world's Coral Reefs will be gone by 2050.
Dive The Reef! (This site gives Divers, and Boaters alike tips, places to dive, and facts on what to do when you dive, how best to "view" the Reef when around it, without hurting it. Great site for planning trips, and a good bit of the tours are in the USA!)
Reef Watch Waikiki! (Volunteers here Gather Data, Share Knowledge, Promote Proper Reef Etiquette, and Lead Educational Programs!)
Coral Restoration Foundation! (These people are in Key Largo and Key West. They have a nursery where they produce corals that are becoming scarce, and undertake reef restoration projects!)
