    Default Reef Safe...Reef Schmafe!.

On my way home from work yesterday my little brother called me and told me I could come get his urchin before he Got Rid of it.
Apparently his "Reef Compatible" long spine Saltwater Aquarium Inverts for Marine Reef Aquariums: Longspine Urchin, Black
had decided last night to turn in to a Zombie and eat his BRAIN....Trachyphyllia I think.

In my brothers defense the tank was a FOWLR tank when he got the urchin, he slowly add corals over the last 10 months and never had a problem till now so he kept it in there. This just goes to show that the online super stores are not always 100%. This post isn't to blast the sites but to remind poeple that wild animals will do what they want. No matter what Fosters and Smith say.
Well the only place I could put him was the mantis tank, ENJOY

he wants to kill it, he just doesn't know how to....yet

Id like to know how this turns out... I think the only way the mantis would actually have a shot is if the urchin falls off something and the mantis is at the ready.

    cool video

It seem like the mantis knows it's not worth its to go after the urchin, they pretty much leave each other alone.
